How do I book an appointment?

Please use the online booking system on this website. Select the service you require first, then choose either 'Recommended Times' to see suggestions or 'Browse Full Calendar' to pick a specific date and time. To ensure we have enough time to prepare, our system only allows bookings at least 3 hours in advance. For example, if it is currently 1:00 PM, the earliest available appointment will be at 4:00 PM. If you want to book on Mondays, please contact Ming directly.

How do I pay?

We currently accept e-transfer, cash, and cheque. Please note that credit and debit cards are not accepted at this time.

What should I do if I have an acute injury?

I offer an Acute Care Program for musculoskeletal injuries that have occurred within the last 10 days. You do not need a referral from your family doctor—simply contact me directly, and I’ll arrange an appointment for you as soon as possible.

Do you need a doctor's referral for osteopathic or massage treatments?

Osteopathy: You are welcome to have osteopathy treatment without a referral. Osteopathic practitioners are considered primary contact healthcare providers, meaning you do not need a referral from a doctor to book an appointment. While a referral is not required for treatment, although rare, some insurance companies may require one for reimbursement purposes.

Massage: For massage treatment, some insurance companies or plans may require a doctor's referral. Please consult your insurance company.

What is Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT)?

OMT involves the use of the practitioner's hands to examine and treat the patient's body. It considers the body as an interconnected system rather than treating individual symptoms in isolation. It emphasizes the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Is OMT Safe?

Yes, when performed by a trained osteopathic practitioner, OMT is safe. It's a non-invasive treatment and can be an alternative to medication and surgery for certain conditions. As with any medical treatment, it's important to discuss your health history with the practitioner to ensure OMT is appropriate for you.

Is OMT covered by extended health care insurance?

Every insurance policy is different, so we always encourage people to check their plan. However, Osteopathy is often covered in the paramedical section of extended healthcare insurance.

What to wear for osteopathic treatment?

Osteopathic treatment is applied over clothing, so patients need to wear something stretchy and comfortable.
